BACKGROUND:
-
2014 – PhD in Ecology, Tomsk State University. Thesis: “Influence of insecticide Esfenvalerate on the communities of Cladocera and Copepoda in the different climatic conditions”.
-
2008–2011 – Institute of Systematic and Ecology of Animals Siberian Branch of Russian Academy of Science (Novosibirsk), Department of Insect Ecology. PhD-student.
-
2002–2007 – Study at Tomsk State University, Institute of Biology, Department of Ichthyology and Hydrobiology.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: 9 years of research and 2 years of teaching experience. The main interests are the understanding of underlying mechanisms (biochemical, ecological) determining sensitivity of aquatic invertebrates to different stressors at the population and community level of organization. Specialize on zooplankton (Cladocera, Copepoda, Rotifera), studying their sensitivity on community and population levels to different chemical and biological toxicants. Other scientific interests covers distribution and diversity of zooplankton in natural water bodies.
